Community as Ecology

I approach community work as ecology work—intertwined, inseparable, and reciprocal. Community, to me, includes people, yes—but also land, water, infrastructures, histories, and non-human life. It is a living system, made of both the organic and the constructed, the visible and the often overlooked. To care for community is to care for the complex web of relationships that sustain it.

My belief is simple: humanity is not above nature, but part of its cycles—its growth, its grief, its resilience. This understanding shapes how I collaborate, design, and learn alongside others. Whether it's through co-creating with neighborhoods, supporting site-based research, or facilitating reflective conversations, my work is guided by the idea that human well-being is deeply tied to the health of the environments we inhabit.

This section gathers projects rooted in connection, reciprocity, and shared imagination. Each one reflects a commitment to listening, co-building, and honoring the intricate ecologies—social and environmental—that hold us.
